Hireling rules inspired by a mini

This little 40 page book of rules and ideas came from a miniature, like most great ideas do! Follow the steps in "Running a Hireling" to create and introduce a fun new character at your table.

"Running a Hireling" includes:

• d100 lists to use when creating your hireling character,
• rules for determining their helpful specialties,
• quest hooks to tie adventures directly to the hireling, and 
  
• 20 upgradeable specialties.

Hireling Work Log sheets

It's time for the party to track the hireling's progress! Print off a couple of the little sheets and they can track the hireling's daily contributions to the party. It's up to you how many entries they'll need to gain a specialty, but somewhere around a week's worth is a good place to start.

Print as many as you need! If you'd ever like a pad's worth (in a handy tear-away pad) those are always available too.

System-agnostic ideas

All rules are presented system-agnostic. Depending on your game, the ideas in the book might be all you really need! If you want some guidance, there are two "Rules and Mechanics" translation PDFs with specific rules for supported TTRPGs.
