Each of these little books is full of encounter ideas and tables to help you put together your next game. "Monstrous" is all monster encounters and "Mysterious" is full of head-scratchers to pull your party into your world.

Looking for inspiration for your games? Flip through and find one that catches your attention (or roll on the page numbers!) and read the prompt. Roll on the 2 or 3 tables specific to that encounter, and you'll quickly find yourself with a unique set of new ideas.

Each encounter also includes a set of pre-rolled ideas that I wrote up, based on how the ideas inspired me.

Works with any game system

Whether D&D, Pathfinder, or Daggerheart, the ideas in these books are just that -- ideas. There are no assumptions made about any game system or mechanic at all.

I bought them as I found the approach interesting. To be honest I will never use it as planned but will strip them and expand my encounter generator with those idea. And this ideas are fantastic! And this I can say after 39 years TTRPG experience. So this publications are useful as much for beginner GM's as for Grognards. Well done.

Definitely worth every penny, used this a couple times when in an ideas slump and the scenarios I rolled were so evocative and fun they immediately got me back into planning. On that note, I love just how unique & interesting the prompts are, they leave just enough gaps to build a core mystery while also forming a cohesive beginning to an adventure. 10/10 - absolute banger

The encounters are varied and interesting. I don't think I could use most of them in my campaign, but they are great prompts for one shots. The d100 tables in the monster book are also double as drawing prompts for creature designs

The perfect books to spark ideas and get inspiration from. A single roll on one of the tables could lead to a whole new world. My wife and I love to roll out prompts and come up with one shot ideas for future use. It's Ryan's book, but it'll become your stories.
